Kettle River Pizza pioneered the USDA inspected take home frozen pizza.
1986 Kettle River Pizza, Inc., was founded in Sandstone, Minnesota by Boyd Langseth, Roland Peterson, Roger Wenzel, and Robert Hanson.
1987 Kettle River Pizza, Inc., name changed to Kettle River Products.
2002 Kettle River Products was purchased by Ken Waletzko. Ken incorporated the company, became an approved USDA company, and changed the name back to Kettle River Pizza, Inc. During the past 10 years, Ken and his staff have perfected existing recipes and added a few of their own. As a result of this, the growth has exceeded all expectations. Today there are several hundred businesses in the Midwest that sell Kettle River Pizza.
2012 Kettle River Pizza, Inc. celebrates 10 years of operation in Askov, MN! Ken and Lisa Waletzko, together with an OUTSTANDING crew, continue to create pizza that outshine all others… Try one for yourself!
